Here's a late weigh-in:

10/22/07
Ht: 6'4"
Wt: 260
Age: 46 in about 3 weeks

I started the year at 272 and got down to 247 by June. Over the last few
months I lost discipline, cut back on my exercise and started eating more
crap. I'm not giving up booze, just cutting back. I'd like to get to 230 but
I think 240 is more realistic and maintainable.

I don't know what that is all about Coach, but the total weight is 6,243 pounds.
And don't associate me with Keeping Score please....

I don't think I could measure up to Don's abilities. I'll post totals every once in a while but if any of you actually lose weight you'll have to post how many pounds because I am not going to scroll to find your original weight.
You also have a couple of guys trying to gain weight so that may skew the total....

This whole thing is kind of burrito to me but I'm interested to see how I'll compare since most of my day consists of walking now. I have been lifting a lot of weights though so I think body fat% would be much better for me. Anyway..

5'11"
208
26 in 4 weeks

Looking to drop about 20-25 pounds.

1 ripe soft banana
1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 raw egg (I used equivalent qty. of egg beaters)
4-5 frozen strawberries (raspberries have too many seeds)
1 cup of ice

Didn't have the exact ingredients, but did make a mega shake tonight:

1 cup milk
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup blueberry yogurt
2 raw eggs
1 banana
1 cup of ice

Wasn't the greatest, but not too bad either. Hopefully enough to keep me from snacking later tonight.

My father-in-law is in town on business, so my wife and I took him to Giordano's (he loves Chicago style pizza). I didn't cave, I had a salad. Thanks, board.

You're a much stronger man than I, Bulldog. I would have caved in a heart beat. Hell, my dinner last night consisted of a 16 oz porterhouse, a baked potato, and a salad. But I did skip on dessert though :) .

In the past, I would have caved, too. I was even thinking, "well, I can just have one..." but then I thought of the board. It's like there is added pressure on me now (real, or imagined). This won't work and less somebody holds me accountable. That's what I'm using all of you for.

This is very close to the shake I have been making on and off since college

1 Frozen banana
2 scoops chocale protein powder
1 cup blueberry yogurt (I go non fat but doesn't really matter)
1 cup OJ
2 cups of ice

obviously to do a mega just double everything. I might try the raw eggs and see how they mix in from a flavor point of view.

I bought a couple new suits at Mens Warehouse last February for my new job. This morning I went to get them altered because the pants are too big. That was pretty cool. GO ME!

I'd never include raw eggs in any protein shake, J Leman to the contrary. If you're jonesing for egg protein that badly, then just hard boil the bastards.

Yeah, raw eggs are a little scary. Just use a quality whey powder and overpower the awful taste by adding some fruit juice.

The chance of getting salmonella from a pasturized egg is really low but I understand it's a risk some are not willing to take.
