Might be of interest to some of you guys. A little "after" my time, but I knew people in a bunch of the band on these flyers who had been slogging around the scene a little past their prime. I love that people still design flyers, an just post them on Facebook. I will be attending. http://riotfest.org/2016/10/flyerside-chicago-punk-scene-retrospective/ |

Try to get there? You should be encased in plexiglass. |

I think JORR would enjoy more of an emeritus status at this. |

Even Medussa's would have been a little too mature for me in that era. I do, or did, look a little like that young kid standing front and center in the first picture I had a thread on You Weren't There sometime last year. I was never able to get into the "lifestyle" like musical movements in my youth. I didn't need to dress a certain way just because I liked a song. |

Here's a great shot of Faulkner with the mic. The black kid in the white t-shirt is Evanston's very own Eric Williams, a kick ass guitar player in his own right in such bands as the Zebratones and 007: http://rockandroll.si.edu/photocontest/ ... 3A31340335 |

Fun place that iirc turned into a (mostly)lesbian house music club @1-2am. My sons laugh at my stories about places like that. |
