you and I worked on a blog a while back. Are you trying to monetize things? Do you want to pull traffic here for other reasons? What are your thoughts related to a goal?

Of course, the main goal could simply be to remain a place for people to call each other names.

With as much traffic as this site gets, and with as many interests and skill sets inherent in the members of this place, AND considering the board was just sold for what sounds like a substantial amount... I wonder what the Wisemen have in store.

In the past the three who purchased the board have said they don't want to monetize it. Way in the past I approached BF about turning this into a msg board and blog. I received no response. I've come to realize BF mainly just wanted to cash out on the board for himself.

Cool. People spend money on hobbies all the time.

In the event that something were to be done, however, I could see value in doing something close to what you've approach past ownership about.

You know; instead of using this site to simply talk about other sites doing it.

I agree there is loft talent here who's opinions on sports could be showcased in a better manner.

What is really interesting about the success of Dr. Ken's podcast is the "breaking down the fourth wall" transparency that Management has welcomed. I see this as a huge positive of the Board.

The reason I'm asking is because I see a big opportunity for this platform to grow and expand in the same light as other online forums I've used. Plus, since a moderately substantial investment by was required to purchase the Board, I'm assuming some thought was given to potential growth.
