I've been a long time lurker here, trying to post more and get used to forum. I have the opportunity to purchase 20 games, 2 tickets for 1640.20; 41$ a seat, for the cub. What do you all think? Not sure about committing to that many with the day games. Between my gf(sox fan) and I we maybe get to 10 games a year between the sides.

as a season ticket holder since 2003. I have one word for you:

No.

Unless you don't mind "losing" every penny you will invest. The Cubs ticket market, despite the team's success, is dead and has been since 2016. If you intend to attend all games between you, family and friends...sure...

But the Cubs are going to start to get desperate if the team falls behind early this year. There's little to no season ticket holder waiting list yet. They're coming for the Combo plan ticket holders next, mark my words.

Have to agree. The Cubs priced the secondary market out. You can do last minute tix for face or less just about any game.

I wouldn't buy into a 1/4 season unless the games were evenly spread throughout the season, even distribution of night and weekends, and had a 1/4 share playoff option.

That's what I offered to people who bought into mine.

On top of it, they've eliminated hard tickets. It makes it very difficult to come down with 4 and try to sell 2.
