The Smashing Pumpkins have announced that they are releasing Zietgeist, on July 10th, with three different tracklistings, depending on where you buy it. Both Best Buy and Target get exclusive Bonus Tracks while everyone else gets the standard edition. Has catering to the big box retailer gone too far? Standard: 1 Doomsday Clock 2 7 Shades of Black 3 Bleeding the Orchid 4 That's The Way (My Love Is) 5 Tarantula 6 Starz 7 United States 8 Neverlost 9 Bring The Light 10 (Come On) Let's Go! 11 For God And Country 12 Pomp And Circumstances Best Buy: Death From Above (Bonus Track) Target: Zeitgeist (Bonus Track) |

Hmmm, both the Billy Corgan & Jimmy Chamberlin solo albums didn't sell well - so they "reunite" the Pumpkins with only 2 of 4 members - the same 2 guys who gave us the poor-selling "Zwan" album. Hmmm, do the Pumpkins really matter anymore? Does anybody really care anymore? |

My love for Target has nothing to do with the Smashing Pumpkins. They have some good songs, but I never listen to them. I just downloaded Cooleyhighharmony. I have much better taste than all of you. |

Smashing Pumpkins was great before they came out with Meloncollie. That was just bad. |

That was just bad. I disagree - Melloncollie was a really good album; what ruined it was Adore |

Nothing worth listening to since 1995 or so. |
