Well, she did say Catch Me If You Can; goodbye & good riddance Elvira. Elvira Arellano, the illegal Mexican immigrant activist who spent one year in the sanctuary of a North Side church, has been arrested in Los Angeles, a close friend has confirmed. Few details were available about the arrest by federal authorities, but Emma Lozano, her close adviser, said that at approximately 4 p.m. Chicago time Sunday, "Elvira was arrested." |

Much ado about nothing. It's like the Vick thing vis a vi cruelty to animals. As a society we have to get past the packaged sound byte that fits into the "news" and open some true discourse on these issues. |
