I play in what I call 'Organized Pick Up Basketball' on Thursday nights in Schaumburg. It's through the Schaumburg Park District and called Men's Physical Fitness and Basketball, but it's basically 30+ pick up games. No team needed, teams are picked on site. It runs about 8 bucks a week and goes from 7-9.

If you want anymore info, PM me. It;s a good group of guys, no shit talking (well not much) and in general a good time.

I live in Hoffman Estates and might check it out. I play every wednesday night at the Schaumburg Rec Center in a similar format.

It's what you would expect from a 40+ league - some good out of shape guys like me, some that are in shape but suck.

I've never played raquetball before but it looks like a fun game. I see them in there a lot. I'm one of those guys who gets curious about a sport but never really tries because I don't want to embarrass myself. The first time I tried playing tennis, it wasn't pretty. I looked like Stevie Wonder playing tennis in that SNL sketch with Eddie Murphy.
