ugh...
started thursday night...
fever broke friday morning.
came back friday night and broke again early saturday.
i think i saw a Bears player at the pet store yesterday but i was too geeked on meds to remember his name.

yes, i was operating heavy machinery.

the gecko needed chicken soup and i needed crickets.

i swear nyquil is 90% psychedelic alkaloid of the tryptamine family
and watching WAR on PBS makes it all kinds of trippy.

i want my mommy.

My 2 year old has been sick since Tuesday. He's showing signs of improvement.

I used to love Nyquil but prefer the awful tasting Theraflu now. I think it works better. Get well.

worked pretty good. still a little cough/congestion but the worse is over.

HHJ: it's a line from the Metalocalypse DVD. Stink is probably the only person that really believes it. :)

I've had a cough that I haven't been able to get rid of for a month. I'm not a medicine person and gallons of water is usually the treatment when I get sick. Lady Nas convinced me to see the doctor last week and they gave me some Zithromax to take. He told me the dust from being around a few rehabs might be the problem. I still haven't taken the antibiotics because I'm a stubborn bastard. It's not a bad cough but it's annoying and the mucus refuses to come out.

Could be mold too - watch that shit Nas.

Vince, any knowledge on a good air quality test kit?

Author:  Spaulding [ Wed Oct 10, 2007 10:05 pm ]

If you put the shower on steam up the the bathroom, stay there for about 10 minutes and then get a blast of cold air outside that can help loosen the mucus.

I'm also in the mostly drug free camp. Antibiotics especially are over prescribed and will be ineffective in treating viral infections.

Sorry, none here. There were some real estate guys on this board that might have a good one.

Who was the fat comedian who talked about how you never see anyone on a commercial taking Nyquil outside their bed?
I think the punchline was, he once took it in the kitchen and woke up the next day with the tile pattern on his face.

My Dad did that once when I was in high school, woke up with the tile patterns that is. But it was because he fell asleep against the bathroom wall. :D
