Watching Charlie Brown cartoons is always depressing to me. I used to watch it out of habbit but I stopped a few years ago.

Couldn't help but wonder though why Franklin just happened to be 'hanging out' with Peppermint Patty and Marcie. But then my youngest asked me if Peppermint Patty was a boy or a girl... and then I really wondered what ol' Chuck Schultz was up to

Charlie Brown needs some Prozac or Zoloft.
I was gonna write a where are they now skit about him being committed to the Institution, but then I thought I might only encourage a certain Institutionized old man to post here, and thought better of it.

Franklin goes to the same school as Peppermint Patty and Marcie, which BTW is a different school than the one attended by Charlie Brown and the others. Franklin sits in front of Patty in class, too.

Actually I always remember the Thanksgiving show running a weak third to the Halloween (best by far) and Christmas specials.

Agreed. The voices were even better in those earlier two.

Christmas show on tonight. My second grade son is giving me the best reason to watch, ...it's part of HIS homework. Believe it or not, it's a writing/character development project and fairly clever. I gotta get his teacher a little extra on the Starbucks Xmas gift card this year.

I was amazed at how timeless it was... good stuff. I think the Shrek holiday show is tonight with all the same voices... may check that out as well....

My kids (and I) are looking forward to the Shrek show tonight. I believe the original Grinch is on after that as well. My little guy is really into Dr. Suess now.

I enjoy watching all these Christmas shows that I grew up on. At least my kids give me an excuse to watch them instead of people thinking I'm wierd or something.
