Post subject:  CSFMB Rose Bowl Event?

I don't think this has been mentioned in any other threads, and I think this would be the RIGHT section to mention this...

since it would be a somewhat hometown game, and a lot of Illini hotties will be there...I wanted to put out a suggestion for a CSFMB Viewing Party at Northside for the Rose Bowl:

CSFMB Rose Bowl Par-tay
Northside Pub
Tuesday, Jan 1, 2ish-???? (game starts at 4 CST I think)

Anybody have any interest in doing this? I know most of us will be nursing hang overs, but I just thought I'd throw it out there...

That's why I'm waiting until the night of New Year's Day to celebrate. I can't imagine the ban will be going into effect at 12:00.01 on New Year's Eve.

It won't. It will go into effect the first day you open for business in 2008. Since on NYE, you opened in 2007, those laws apply. So, the only loophole is to never close and people can still smoke in your bar.

That can't be true, can it? That would mean that it is always something like August 14th, 1992 at 7-11, since they never close. I admit that would be awesome for tax purposes; "no, were still in fiscal year 1992, we'll pay those when the year ends."
