I used to go to Roselle Lumber on Irving near the airport but they closed. anyone have any suggestions for lumber yards in the general area?

Last time I bought lumber was from Totem over in Schiller Park, which I know is not near Schaumburg. Wood was in decent shape for building some cabinets and a workspace.

Yea, it's like all the lumber yards that I knew of disappeared.....Does Maher Lumber in Wood Dale have decent studs and deliver? (Basement project)

Well, you know who to blame for lumberyards disappearing. Granted, I have been able to find decent wood at a Home Depot for small stuff, but I wonder if actual contractors find what they need.

Gotta figure as close as they are to Canada, grab a saw and try Darkside's or Doug's backyards (just watch out for gunfire :P )
