With the weather turning warmer, for some pathetic reason, my thoughts have turned to re-creating the marathon imbibing session that a good deal of us participated in last year at Redmond's. Because it takes a long time to get anything firmed up around these parts, I figured I'd plant the seed and see if we can do this again, with more people.

So, any ideas for dates and locations?

it would be cool to have this surrounding a baseball game again; especially a certain crosstown series...

I might attend, depending on the day that gets selected. If the plan is for a drinking event during warmer weather, the beer garden at Sheffield's, just down the block from Redmond's, is an ideal setting.

I met my wife there.

She's hated that place ever since.

If I profane with my unworthiest hand
This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:
My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.

...And what did you say after she stopped laughing?

She is still laughing at me.

I give her 12 more years and if she doesn't stop, I'm out of here.
