the only weekend i know i can't do is the weekend of the 20th because...WE ARE HAVING A SOCCER VIEWING PARTY ON SATURDAY RIGHT?? 
and then sunday i'm running a 10k. |

I voted April 27. I'd rather do it on a Saturday so I can hang out afterwards without worrying about waking up for work the next day. |

So I didn't see this until after posting in the other thread. Saturdays were booked at the gym, so Sundays are the better option. If a Saturday is chosen as the best day, I can double-check to see if that day has opened up. Also, it's pay-for-play. I think we figured about $10/person last thread... May 24th is definitely out for me as I'm going to the Indy 500 (button 48 ) that weekend. |

It sounds like we'll get more people if we played in a more central location. So, who lives in or around the city and is near a Chicago Park with a gym? I found on the Chicago Park district site that there are over a hundred parks with gyms for basketball. They are rentable, but apparently the fees and schedules vary. Here's the link to the list from their site of parks which have gyms (EDIT: OK I have no idea why there's an asterisk in their web address, but it's fucking up posting the direct link here.
