glad everything went ok. I know how it feels to have a parent in surgery, so when you get the good news you feel like a huge weight has been lifted

Doug - what was he having done? Having had shoulder, knee and light back surgery, shoulder was/is easily the hardest to recover from. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Good luck to him. I had a rotator cuff and labrum tear repaired. The therapy was hard and you really have to keep it up.

For recovery, I threw three games back in 2004 under the watchful eye of my pitching coach, but reinjured my shoulder when I was on my 20th pitch of the third session and was placed on the 60 day DL.
