I will be there from September 13-16. If any of you pantless, internet cretins are out there, let's have a beer or twelve.

4 days and 3 nights will DEFINITELY be enough! Look for the "Super Fun 21" tables, they are single deck and can really turn a profit for ya if u play right! Have fun, and come back a winner, if not - then come back a break-evener! :cheese:

Will you be opening for Gladys Knight at the Flamingo?

I love Super Fun 21 because they allow for the late double down. You probably won't find it in any of the big casinos..

don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm also heading out to Vegas!

Can anyone recommend some good restaurants on or nearby the Strip? Not the touristy places or hotel joints, any suggestions?

I've read positive reviews of an Italian restaurant called Casa di Amore and a Moroccan place called Marrakech, anybody been there?

What's the best website to get the cheapest deals for Vegas?

First try Travelocity and Expedia. Then, if you find something reasonable, contact the actual hotel. I find that the hotels have the best packages/deals for the rooms. For the flight, I haven't found one better than another for a deal.

I usually use this website: http://www.bookingbuddy.com/hotel.php?s ... city_hotel

To add to that, tell them that you're looking for the best deal they can offer when you talk to them, and to speak to the supervisor if possible. Vegas hotels are dropping prices like crazy, and I was able to get a better deal at the Bellagio for October when I hinted at staying somewhere else. If you have a group going with you, make sure they know that before they quote you a price.

I stayed there last year. How recent was the remodeling?

I think February 2008. How is the casino there? Hot cocktail waitresses?

Then I was there before the remodeling. The waitresses are OK. The gaming leaves something to be desired, especially the sports book, which is horrendous. The hotel is nice though and attracts a youngish crowd, especially at night. I was pleased with the experience.

Where would you recommend for a good sports book and waitresses? I heard the Venetian has decent eye candy.

This is my fourth trip to Sin City. We took one trip that was longer, and by the end of the vacation, I was on sensory overload. Not to mention, drunk.

Caesar's Palace has a beautiful sportsbook, but the waitresses left something to be desired. The Wynn's sportsbook is a bit smaller but very luxurious, the girls are nice, and the drinks are the best you can find on the strip for free (especially if you have a bloody mary). I didn't make it to the Hilton sportsbook but it's supposed to be a staple of Vegas sports gaming.

I was at the Venetian only very briefly, but what I saw was nice, if you know what I mean. It's right across the street from the Wynn and TI and about 3 blocks from Caesar's palace so it's definitely worth checking out.
