not sure what section to put this in, but I've bought all four of these, and if there's any Stooges fans out there unaware of these collections, they are the best thing Sony's put out in quite some time. Organized in order of release date and fully restored, they look fantastic. This sounds like an ad but it's not. I just love the Stooges. Any other fans out there on this board?

I know everybody loves Curly, but the Shemp films were the funniest in my opinion.

the early Shemp films were certainly the best as far as story line and thoughtful scripts. I have to admit I am a total Curly fan, but Shemp's good with me too. What a tragic story behind all that stuff though...

1. Curly (the best)
2. Shemp (not a big fan)
3. Curly Joe (the worse)

out of principle, I don't watch the Curly Joe ones, so I'll have to take your word for that...

I got them thru Netflix. It is amazing I still laugh balls out to them .
I too do not liek Curly Joe, you know he had it in his contract that Moe could not hit him .
I read a book aboutthem , very sad story esp when Moe got older and had to pimp himself out for a payday .

I like "Hold That Lion!" if only for the image of seeing Larry, Moe, Curly, and Shemp in the same scene...the only time that ever happened.

HUGE fan of the Stooges. I am glad they're releasing another collection that isn't just "Sing a Song of Six Pants" and "Disorder in the Court".

I've always thought they should release the whole Stooges collection in one set, I'm sure it would sell well.

BTW, Joe Besser (the burrito) was pretty bad, too. Not as bad as the Curly Joe ones, but still bad. "Ooooooh, not sooooo haaarrrrrrrd!"

i was raised on the stooges, but i don't know specifics enough. i was a casual fan...i'll watch them when they're on, and laugh, but i don't know that i'd go and buy the stuff.

my friends and i created our own stooges sketch for history class when we did a report on them (20th century american history rocks). button 48 our teacher loved us. i was moe.

Love the stooges. I used to watch them with my uncle all the time. My fave's are:
1. The boxing one.
2. A plumbing we will go.
3. The one where they were the professors and sing the song.
4. The exterminator one

I'm a self proclaimed Stooge expert. My dad has hours of them on VHS and I'll still watch them from time to time. Everybody loves Curly, but Larry had some great one liners, and he was the funniest to watch dance.
