Time: 10/11am-2 pm. Date: Saturday, March 14th Place: Irving Park Bowling Lanes 5708 W Irving Park Rd Chicago Cost: right now $3.50/game shoe rental: $2.00 Who is Invited: Any board member. Including Westmont Mike. I'm getting numbers together and trying to work out a cheaper price. Right now there are a number of you in. Unless something drastic comes up (standing up in 2 weddings this spring, so its possible) I am in. I'd say we'll probably have to reserve at least 4 lanes, cof? |

I'd say more...I'm getting better at numbers predictions and I forsee this event at anywhere from 16-24 board members. So I'll get 6 lanes just as a precaution, especially since they say they don't charge extra... Side note: I do plan on inviting Silvy this time. Sorry for the swing and a miss last time, sir. Yeah, thats good. Ideally, 4 per lane. We could also have a CSFMB poker tournament coinside with bowling (1 card per strike/spare, max of 5 cards in your hand at once, place poker at the end of the game) |

You pick up a card every mark (strike or spare) you get in the game, then after the game is over, you play poker with the 5 cards you have in your hand. If you get a 6th, 7th, etc mark, you can pick up a new card, but you have to discard one to the bottom of the deck. |

Beer frame????  I'd say I'm 50 / 50 right now. I'll get a better idea once the date gets closer. Also, COF, can you find out a head of time if that bowling alley has Twisted Tea?  On a side note, I was at a candlelight bowl last Saturday and the same thing happened to my shoes (ones that I own) that happened to Zach's friend at Hoops. Damn things threw off my game  .

But good God, COF, can you not get something just a bit closer for us fellow DeKalb county dwellers...not that I'm expecting Aurora, but maybe a closer, centralized western 'burb like Elmhurst or something? I've given up on centralizing board events for us suburanites for now because it seems like the majority are way in east in the city or even Indiana.
