Since COF and the rest of us are planning umpteen get togethers, any interest in a CSFMB Sox outing? And before anyone jumps all over me, I'll list the 2 main reasons a Sox outing would be better than a Cubs outing: -Ticket availability and price -Tailgating and weekend night games. I think with a group of us, it would be more fun to tailgate at 5pm on a Saturday night than pay $5 for a 16oz Bud Light at a Wrigleyville bar at 10am, but thats just me.. I'm sure Slappy's season ticket guy would have some group ticket info for us, and I have no problem working the phones/email to get this all set up. I figure between friends and family, something like this could easily grow to 40 people. I was thinking maybe a Saturday night game in July. Thoughts? |

Just fired off an email to group ticketing. Checking for price and avail for July 18th (3:05 vs. Orioles) and August 8th (6:05 Vs. Indians). Both are Saturdays. |

If I can get leave for one of those dates I would be in. I'll be in town for a couple weeks in late April/early May and should have my orders by then so I should have an idea. Probably wont know by March though. |
