Why 12015? I knew I was close to 12k yesterday. Then I sort of forgot. Then I remembered....then I forgot again.
and well...here we are. post 12,015.
things:
i've been seeing a girl weekly for the past 6 weeks or so. she's the chick i was 3 lockers from all through high school.
5' tall, 90lbs. perfect size for me. pretty clear that we're both into each other....though that has yet to happen. she's dangerous to me, b/c i "think" there could be much more here in terms of falling for her. low maintenance, funny, smart, keeps me entertained, etc...
other things:
the music stuff is really starting to kick on all cylinders. the band finalized 8 songs (see link below). josh and i are finding our stride and coming up with all kinds of ideas/demos that are simple "better" than those that are finished. progress!
old music buddies and a couple of new ones are waking from their winter slumber so, we are really excited about "other" (non-passive aggressor) songs and collaborations. Very exciting things. we just booked our first saturday show July 25th at Reggies. Mark your calendars!
more things:
I started another project with my once black, 10 year old M.I.C. Fender Squire. Bought new guts as listed in economic stimuli thread.
Took a heat gun to it Sunday night for 5 hours and got the paint off. Been sanding this "glue" layer, and the top laminate to get the to wood. It's gonna look hot!
still other things:
work still sucks balls. and when the humidity is 80% or more my back goes fucking crazy and hurts. when there are thunderstorms, i get needle like pains that run down my arms and across my ribs that dance like lightning does in the sky.
hence, i have been extremely irritable the past few days.
