WSCR radiothon alert: The SCORE's planning to broadcast live from Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield from 5a-Midnight Thursday September 10th. They hope to raise money & awareness about prostate cancer in this inaugural radiothon with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
(Frank will get in line several times to be examined!)

My new place is right across the street from there.

How exactly do you have a remote at a hospital?

Boers & Bernstein live from a hospital ... isn't that mentioned in the Bible somewhere in Revelations?

Maybe the next time they will do their show from a nut-hatch and come full-circle.

(Srsly, good on the Score for doing something somewhat noble such as this.)

Yup. I think it's right before "Cats and dogs living together...MASS HYSTERIA!"

Thats nice of you to specifically NOT LISTEN SHARK. I had surgery there when I was 6. Thanks for NOT helping the kids. :(

Interesting that the felt it was necessary to preface his post with that information.

I didn't mean to be insensitive, but SHARK tries to be honest and truthful with everyone in this board. The one thing I'm not 100% sure about the SCORE's radiothon is whether all the shows will broadcast live or if the sports talker's update anchors will do their segments there...I'm also unsure if the guys will talk sports as always with a special emphasis on the fight vs. prostate cancer.

At least there won't be two hours of Murph with his thumb up his ass ... at least on the air - what he does on his own time is ...... well, it's probably just plain icky.

Are they fighting prostate cancer or fighting the fight on prostate cancer?

I wonder if they'll let Terry sit in on a couple of scopes.

They should get drinky blitzed and then talk him into doing a Katie Couric special. Maybe Lou Kanelis could produce it for 190 North.

Sorry to disappoint you, GD, but Lou Canellis, and that's his correct spelling, left ABC7's "190 North" show over a year ago. Besides, I think he & Dan Jiggetts will be doing "Bears Biltz", one of the Chicago Bears Network of Shows, on Comcast SportsNet while the radiothon is on the air...

The Titans/Steelers' NFL opener went a little later than expected in Pittsburgh, so Les Grobstein will only be on for about 50 minutes for the conclusion of the "WSCR Prostate Cancer Awareness Radiothon" tonight on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. I wonder how much money they raised overall after "Mully & Hanley", "The Danny Mac Show", "Boers & Bernstein" and Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch all broadcasted live from 5a this morning until tonight...

Oh, fuck you. Murph was just alright with me.
At least he got paid to sit with his thumb up his ass. What's your excuse?
