My company is looking for both inside and outside sales reps. Inside consists of phone work, outgoing follow up and cold calls. Outside sales is beating the sidewalks trying to land as many orders as you can.

I really don't know what the pay starts at, but there are benefits, 6 paid holidays, and bonus potential that is usually easily attainable. Outside guys use thier own vehicles but do get mileage. Travel for this position is extremely minimal.

I'm in front of a computer most of the day- as most of you know. The only time I'm not is if I have to visit a customer for a 'lighting audit', as they say.

This inside position has opened up again. The base pay (I think) starts about $28,000

Chris, bonuses are paid monthly and broken down by your assigned territories. When I was on the phones (march '08 - nov '08) my lowest bonus was like $60, and my highest was almost $700.
