One of these names is not like the other... one of these names just doesnt belong...

George Foster
Doc Gooden
Andre Dawson
Steve Garvey
Gary Carter
Bruce Sutter
Lee Smith
Jerome Walton

Will anyone under the age of 30 know anyone off this list other than Don Zimmer?

You don't know the Great George Foster (the only guy along with "Big Daddy" to legitimately hit 50HRs in the last 35 years). Next you'll tell us you also don't know "The Cobra".....another hero of my yout.

George Foster hit 52 home runs one year.

That, at one time, was an impressive number.

"You're a lousy shot. I hate lousy shots." "I don't deal with psychos, I just put em away." "You're a good citizen."

The greatest car in movie history. Also, didn't Foster finish his career with the Sox along with Steve Carlton?

Don't remember the Foster finale, but (with apologies to Spmack) which of you two is real & which is the mult?

The odds that more than one person here can quote(?) Cobra (the movie) are far, far too long.

Go ahead. I don't shop here.
All right, just relax, Amigo. You wanna talk - we'll talk. I'm a sucker for great conversation.

I almost did forget that - He did sign with the Sox towards the end of 86 and was let go like 2 weeks later. i think that was the end of Carlton and Seaver. (Actually Seaver was traded to Boston that year for Psycho)

I will gladly spend time with anybody who can intelligently discuss the pure magnificence of one Sly Stallone.

What I'd really like to do, is put the greatness of this man in perspective. I think that there 's only 4 names...Dr. Albert Schweitzer, ah, Sylvester Stallone, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, probably, and ... Leo Marvin.
