Anyone down for a round? Should try to hit up GolfNow.com for a good tee time.

I'm teeing off at 8:18 Saturday morning @Woodruff with my Dad and a couple of his friends. $35 for 18 w/cart thru golfnow. Played this once last summer and it was a beautiful course.

For being a short course, Woodruff hates me.

Woodruff is great.

Woodruff is like two different courses in one. The front 9 is really, really short, flat and dull. The back nine is longer, hilly and beautifully landscaped.

I have to take this weekend off but I have gotten out quite a bit already this year.
Next week the wife is going to Vegas from Thur - Sun so I am going to probably play
every one of those days. All of you that get out, have a good time.

Well, so far no one is in, so this might be a lost cause.

I'm having FU money issues...in other words, I don't have any FU money to spend on golf.

In today's SunTimes, there is a Golf Guide and it has some pretty good deals and coupons. Worth it to grab the paper today.

Also for solid deals, check that golfnow site. I know I've plugged it a few times as has Ugie, but really if you have some flexibility with times and don't mind driving a little bit, you can find some absolute steals for 18 w/cart-- esepecially if you play in the afternoon.

Rolling Knolls in Elgin is $20 for 18 with a cart for the whole season.

Got a 7:00 tee time Sunday morning. Going to be a little cool, but I really look forward to getting on the course for the first time.

Its a little drivey for me, but we did this once last summer and I thought it was a decent course. That 9th hole is a fucking joke however.

I'd be down for this if you're looking for an extra guy at some point, Chus.

Anybody interested in a CSFMB golf outing on Memorial Day weekend? Maybe an afternoon round on that Sunday with a few pops afterwards?

Curious where you are going Hawg. Enjoy the first round, sometimes the first one is the best one
early in the season.

Fairways at Woodside up in Sussex. Got to get out tomorrow and hit a few balls. Let's maybe look a couple of weeks from Sunday if you want to try and play somewhere. Let me know.

I agree with that. I shanked my first tee shot of the season into the driving range, but other than that did very well a few weeks back and ended up with an 88. If I break 95 I'm happy.

Funny how it works that way sometimes. So early in the season you can't fill your
head with all kinds of thoughts I guess. That and you aren't expecting much.

Meh, I never expect a ton anyway. I can hit the driver and irons fairly well, even chipping I'm not too bad with. I am horrible at putting though. There are many times I'll 2 putt from 10 feet.

I actually played pretty well the first time out this season. 3-over at Country Lakes in Naperville. It was nice to use the new Adams hybrid.

I am enjoying a round right now on the Wii. I am 31 under through 8 on day 3.

What's wrong with a 60 degree wedge shot over a tree to a pin 78 yards away?

Noted. This place is pretty easy to get to. It's not far from I-90.

I'm out for that weekend. We go camping every Memorial Day Weekend.

Are they hurting that bad with the redesign done at the course along 20? (forget that course's name but played it a few times and it's great)
