A Stephen Strasburg Bowman refractor card (only one made) going for as much as price of an automobile.

No offense to Eaglo but that story is the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life.

Let me know when my 80's football and baseball sets mature until than I won't buy another card.

My prize possession is Jordan rookie card

None taken. I was shocked myself. I mean, could you imagine if Strasburg is a bust how much that card would plummet? I never really got into buying or investing in the rare baseball or football card. I would just try and get the players that I liked and have a set. This business is a bit out of control if you ask me with all the grades on the cards and scarcity nonsense. Somewhere it went terribly wrong and not fun to be a collector.

My retirement is set, thanks to my autographed Dwight Smith rookie card. :D

I remember for about a week in the early 90's that I loaded up on a few Tuffy Rhodes cards. Still have them somewhere. They'd still make for good coasters.

Anyone want to buy about 10 Ty Griffin rookies?

A few years back, a friend of mine bought up every Mark Prior rookie card he could find. Whoops. Nobody is laughing at the Twins anymore.

Does his arm detach from the rest of the card? Oh wait, that's the Mark Prior one ...

Anyone that pays that much for this card should immediately be liquefied into an unrecognizable primordial goo and their assets given to a homeless shelter. Same thing goes for people that actually do business with the "Cash 4 Gold" outfit (and their copycats).

I've got two autographed cards graded near mint -- one is signed by Mike Sexton and the other by Vince Van Patten.

Do you have any autographs from your mustachioed heroes?

Alas, no. But I'm sure Ditka will be signing his wine bottles again shortly.
