Post subject:  Pride Parade!
Have said it many times. Best parade in the City!

Yes, if you have a GF or are married, GO!

I have been to this thing about 5 times, ALWAYS with a GF at the time as I will say the Gays are pretty agressive and drunk on that day, but if you find a good roof top or a good outdoor bar, it is BY FAR the most entertaining parade!

The Gay and Lesbian Illinois Bowlers! "LOOK AT OUR BALLS!"

Gay/Lesbian Heavy Metal Society "WE ARE ROCK HARD"

Sure almost all the 'Floats" have a Animal House appeal as they are done like homecoming floats in high school, with a bit more wit in the statement delivered.

Also, always a good joke at the start to see Dick Durbin (Moth to Flame) and hear the "WE WANT DICK " Chant"

I can't believe the Stanley Cup will be there and not the coveted BP Cup.

My wife went to it with her friend who is a lesbian. She said she saw The Cup with some players, but she couldn't tell who was who....you know, those white guys all look the same. :wink:

Took the train / Irving bus down with my wife; missed the cup but saw Lisa Madigan. Soon after retired to an outside table at the Sports Corner for some beers, snacks and more people watching. On the train ride home couldn't help but notice a fairly nice-looking lovey-dovey lesbian couple. All in all a good day.
