So I said I needed to cancel it.

Next thing I know, I'm suddenly transferred to another department without any warning. The woman asks what she can do for me and I tell her I can no longer afford the expense of the NFL Sunday Ticket ($400 including Super Fan access) and need to cancel it. She tells me she'll drop the price of the ticket (normally $300) by $120 and give me the Super Fan package (normally an additional $100) for free. On top of that she, she's going to give me a $20 credit on my next DirecTV bill if I renew. So factoring in that $20 credit, I'll be getting the NFL Sunday Ticket this year for $160 including the Super Fan package.

Downside, Brett Favre every week.
