Some of you know that I'm an aspiring Hip Hop artist. This is the thread where I will plug my solo projects. Here's a YouTube link to a track that I just finished about an hour prior to posting this. It's called "Unleashed" and will be included on my 2011 release, Open Book. I uploaded it using Doug's YouTube account but I will have my own up soon. I just wanted to get this one out first. Unleashed Feel free to drop a positive comment.

Seems a distant cousin to "Can I Get A ..." ..... not meant as a pejorative, just what I immediately heard underneath whatever it was that you said; some time ago I revealed I'm not much of a lyrics guy (any genre). Also, I heard a few naughty words; I hope you're going to church soon. All that said, seemed just fine to me. |

Kid, this is really really really good. I enjoy your sound a lot, and unlike a lot of "amateurs," you have a fantastic grasp of the beat and use it wisely. Very well done. |

I don't write many lyrics. I tend to write some of my best lyrics not so much when I'm hurting, but when I'm in a particularly bad mood for whatever reason. My most recent addition to B51 I put the words too after an incredibly shitty, tiring, busy day at work. Er yeah, this is Kid's thread Its good stuff for sure KC, and I'm not even a hippity hoppity type guy. |

Yo, Kid, that's a nice track. I got Journal Entries in rotation at the office too. One thing though, I wouldn't refer to yourself as an "aspiring" hip hop artist. No qualifier necessary. |
