Lets get one together for all CSFMB. Lets see if we can get David Spada to sponsor it. Bring your wifes, girlfriends and their cats, and your husbands. Lets meet up at a bar Saturday Dec 18 to have some fun. Lets not limit it to the city(although if we have any chance of getting Bigfan to attend we might need to). I would be willing to help out with organizing it, although when it comes to the city and what bar to have it at on a Saturday night Im pretty much useless.

What do you guys think? No bowling, just a nice holiday party. Free Ajent can even break out a gay xmas sweater for you.

I won't be able to go (sorry the disappointment will kill many) but would be willing to help.

I suggest the city because in general the city is most accesible for people.

Make it at the Two Brothers Brewing place in Warrenville and I will consider it.

This is actually a fantastic suggestion! He also said he would "look out for us" if we organized a gathering there. It's a good place with good beer prices and lotsa food.

Not sure where its at, but Im sure Spanky would let anyone sleep over if they were too drunk to drive. What a great idea Spanky considering its probably less than 5 miles away from you.

Hey, if you would rather go to a different establishment that is owned by a board member, please suggest that one. :D

Im sure I would have an easier time telling the wife she would only have to drive from Plainfield rather than the city. :D

Can we just get a few kegs and set up camp outside of North's house?

Just so we don't get sidetracked:

That's 2 votes for Katie O'Connor's, 1 vote for Nort's house.

Katie has $15 prime-rib night on Saturday .... as long as the horseradish is plentiful, that gets my vote.

If people are still looking for ideas, somebody find out what place Ivan would most prefer to cancel from at the last minute.

One might also consider places like Gameworks or D&B's.

3 votes Katie O'Connor's, plus votes for beef and horseradish.

Must have somehow missed it ... Amazon makes no sense to me today. I may as well have shit in a hat; at least then something would've transpired.

They are doing timed "lightning deals" that are only available for a short period of time, or while they have the inventory. Might have been one of those.

Yeah but I was sure it was "live" when I posted my dummy inquiry ... m'eh, the point is moot now anyway.

I guess I'll just have to wait for the CoD Modern Warfare: Crosswords Edition.
