Hey! That's a great idea to do it on March 18th!

RNM, Chus has volunteered a couple of east suburban locales, but we'll see what's most likely to draw the most people...

So we're gonna be bowling in the Lake?

I know he said he had a place in West Chicago that would give us the hookup. I'm down pretty much with anywhere within a 45min drive, and its somewhat near a major highway.

I vote West Chicago. I can practically walk to that bowling alley.

I'd be o.k. with West Chicago. It's not terribly far.

I would consider showing up if it was at Diversey Bowl or somewhere on the north side of the city. But, I would just spectate since people who have had 6 back surgeries really shouldn't be bowling.

To be fair, it is "no check"

Even though I've participated at the ones at Irving Park Lanes, where I'm also part of a league Monday nights and on my birthday over a year ago at MontClare Lanes, there's a place that's always open. It's Waveland Bowl, located on Western and Waveland, just a block north of Addison and near Lane Tech High School. I'm not sure about the suburbs, at least at this stage anyway...

you're right, but I'm willing to risk my health for hockey, not some gay burrito douche activity like bowling.

Bowling Green in West Chicago is only about 5 minutes from the train station, so those in the city have that option.

Talent is irrelevant. Or you can be like me and just show up to mock people and not actually bowl. Also, people really like when you buy big plates of fried shrimp, nachos, and french fries.

Prequalification for next bowling event:

Must have lane announcer to mispronounce names (Don's Piracy).

Examples maybe: Don Tony, Original Kid Karry, Ugeth Will Shit You, Fred Costanza, God Dolphin, Doug in Evergreen Plaza, City of Food, Terry's Poops, Chug, spank it, shake it, Krazy Evan, Redneckmummy, sjfloyd etc...................

Even the C. Howitt Fealz might be able to attend (can I bring a guest?). I haven't touched a bowling ball in 20 years, though.
