I need to make some window screens. However, they aren't traditional screens, they are the "lip screen frame" type. I can't find anyplace around here to buy this type of framing.

Any leads?

Check with ACE hardware. They used to send screens out to a place for repair. Maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Correct. Was a local small hardware thing, they dont do at Low Menard Depot

Like I said, I need to MAKE some screens. But they aren't the traditional frame type. It's apparently called a "lip screen.".

I've been to ACE, they referred me to a screen guy who wanted $75/screen to make them (out of traditional framing no less).

I just want to buy the specific framing, so I can build them myself. I've found it online, but it gets shipped via common carrier which is $$$. Which is why I was hoping to find a local source...
