The only time I ever bet on baseball was in Vegas in '95 or '96. I had the Cubs. I seem to recall them beating either the Reds or Phillies. Wasn't a very big payout though. I also won with the Jags beating the Jets on a Monday Night game. Jags were good back then when they had Mark Brunell tossing it to Keenan McCardell. Carefully go nuts, Doug........so to speak. Kind of like being skeptically optimistic. |

Sleeper U of Arizona - 50-1 to win NCAA in 2013 or UCLA at 25-1 Kentucky gets the #1 recruiting class...No shocker here...got 3 in top 25... But UCLA has the #1 and #3 prospects....also just pulled the #27 ranked guy...5th ranked C. AZ, has #1 ranked 7 footer coming in, they also have 2 more top 25 PF's coming in.... Basically this is the 1,2,3 of recruiting classes this year. Arizona was the #2 class until UCLA pulled Parker. or you can try the Horse racing machine at MGM!!!!!! Find the JOOR of the Casino and they will tell you who is going to win the next race! Serious, a regular will know. Usually the fave, but at 7-2 and you have 30 seconds to pump as many quarters in as possible..... Even though I think the Spurs are better than the Thunder, I'd consider the Thunder at 4:1(odds right now) to win the NBA title. It should be between them and the Spurs, although Miami has a chance, so 4:1 seems like good value. |

I'm pretty sure the Spurs will win the NBA Finals but I'm guessing 4:1 won't still be there and it's becoming increasingly clear Miami won't win the title without Bosh. |

Did I stutter? Boston is not making to the finals. They got lucky in round 1 after the Josh Smith injury. Plus 12:1 are fantastic odds right now. |

Boston hasn't lost a playoff series the past four years without a starter being hurt. KG, Perkins, and then a one armed Rondo last season. Indiana isn't ready to beat them in a playoff series.
