I will be driving from Indiana to the O'Hare area tomorrow. I have no smart phone and no GPS. I have to rely on Mapquest. Do y'all know if there is any construction in that area I should be aware of before hitting the road? Thanks so much for any info! |

Should be clear sailing. |

The hotel website offers driving directions, but when I put my info in it says "no driving directions available"! wtf? |

Thanks for your input! |

At that time of the day, barring an accident, 294 should be fine. From IN border to O'hare should be an hour at most. Coming back you might hit a little bit of traffic but once you get south of Ogden it should be smooth sailing all the way to Hoosierville. |

I just made the drive from IN to O'Hare last week. 294 had traffic both ways but nothing crazy. There was an accident on the way up that screwed the pooch for a while but as long as you give yourself enough time it is fine. Also, if you dont have an I-pass just go through the ORT lanes and write down the plaza number and time you went thru. YOu can pay online within 7 days and you dont have to stop at the toll booths. |
