This is a product that a former co-worker and 20 year friend of the family designed....for the Dr. Ken's of the world.

With all due respect to you and your friend, whoever spends $3000 on this "kitchen" is an idiot.

I have basically the same set up:

Portable gas grill from Costco: $50
6 foot folding table from Costco: $45
Cooler from walmart: $20
Refillable LP tank from Lowes: $35 (refills are about $11 at truck stops)

Total: $140

Add extra tables and coolers as necessary (or have friends bring them).

Or, am I missing something?

no, you're not missing anything. again, this is for the Dr. Ken's of the world, and where I live, there are lots of Dr. Ken's.

The design is cool, and having thing all in one would be handy, but the price tag is just too high even for the super rich. Why would they be interested in something like that? If I were that rich, I would just have all the help load everything into their cars, and come to the tailgate and cook for me.

A price tag like $500 would be more appropriate.

Can you even buy a grill for $500 nowadays?
I think it makes sense if you have a kid that plays at Notre Dame and you'll be using it for the next 4 years.
