I have known about this 'Development" for about 2 years now. From whisper to concept to some infratsructure, etc.

Basically, its a Redneck resort type of place. Foxworthy, Larry the cable guy, some NASCAR guys have put money up. They reportedely have 400-600 acres and are selling lots.

Still nobody knows exactly what is going in. Kinda funny that the redneck development is doing it backwards.

From Hotels, to shopping, to RV park, Hooters, NASCAR track, Mud Track, etc Yes, everything that Stereotypes your southern redneck.

But, I got the email the other day telling me lots are discounted! $25,000-$50,000 for a lot! They just couldnt tell me where.

I actually hope they "geter done" , because I actually think it is kinda of a good idea.

Where the missed it, is they didnt need to tell everyone it is Blue collar, they needed to name it something like THE DIAMOND or something really high end and then let the people call it the VEGASOUTHERN, or Disney with the Rat. The nickname of a place is something most forget to consider when doing a development. What is everyone REALLY going to call it. Ya know, like "The Cell"
