Post subject: | Lincoln Square Oktoberfest |
this might just be the best street fest in the city Great beer, music and food. It tends to get a little packed with bros but everyone really seems out for a good time. Look for former board notable Stinkfist. He's the guy with the Chicago flag on his forearm. I would bet Bernstein will attend at some point during the weekend, most likely during the day time family hours. I am going tonight. It may just be me and my wife so bring out your ripest pineapples. |

It is a strange area as there is both an S curve that connects Lincoln to Western and a straight street that goes through the traditional Lincoln Square. If a street is closed, traffic is not upset as it is actually two streets. |

not many yuppies when I was there. It seemed like Friday night was reserved for the old German neighborhood guys and homosexuals. I saw some old guy sitting in an oompah band tent drinking a 12 pack of some swill he brought in with him. |
