This looks like a fun event. People get up on a soapbox with a poorly thought out point and I will be there to troll them into embarrassment...like a live CFSMB. Who's with me? https://www.newberry.org/07252015-2015-bughouse-square-debates |

You slobs would rather drink yourselves better looking in some far flung backyard owned by the wife of a man of questionable character? |

I am going to get up there to debate that Bobby Portis is much more similar to Greg Monroe than Tyrus Thomas |

This was a lot of fun if you went there with the proper mindset. If you went to have a good laugh and troll...good times. If you went to actually get angry with opinions, like some who listen to conservative radio...well, maybe it was fun for you in that way. However, if you ever thought you were a liberal, you need to get out to one of these. They had tables ringing the debate area. Planned Parenthood was the conservative table. Socialists, some kind of national worker's party, a table against the private ownership of real estate (JoeOrr was manning it)...my goodness this was like a convention of the left fringe. The whole point of the debates is to get up there and have your arguments questioned. Some high school shit got up there with an argument he thought was brilliant with his proud dad being his assistant with his charts. It was a really poorly thought out argument. People were obviously holding back but threw a couple of respectful retorts. His dad yelled at the people like they did something wrong. He ended with "if you have a better idea, get up here". Great debate skills, kid. |

I wanted to troll Planned Parenthood a bit. I had my kids with me. I was going to walk up to the table and ask them how much I could get for their body parts. I was stopped by a higher authority. |
