My buddy and his brother want to attend this, so he asked me to try to get tickets as well. He and I were both shut out.

The Zombie Dust is awesome. I cracked one about an hour ago.

Yeah ZD is really good stuff. Only $35 a case too.

My buddy got an extra ticket to group C so looks like I will be going this year. I wasn't by a computer but I assume as usual that the site couldn't handle the volume of traffic -- I'll have to follow up with him to see how he got through.

One of my buddies was able to get me a ticket to group C as well. I'll look for ya, Newper. I'll just run up and down the industrial complex yelling out NEWPER!

I have yet to have the Zombie Dust. Someone threw an empty cardboard container of it in my yard the other day though. It made me want some. Effective and cheap advertising.

They closed out CB weeks 2011 last year...I think it was $40.

Had a pretty decent time at DLD on Saturday. Got a little too drinky though and had no Dark Lord Tickat. Consumed Leinenkugel's Big Eddy and a couple of Zombie Dusts. Hung out with some new peeps who were more than willing to share and share alike.

Missed seein' Newper there since I had to leave a bit early....got any stories or things I might have missed?

Yeah, sorry we missed each other. Got in line pretty much right when I got there and was immediately accused of jumping the line. The problem was there was no staff identifying the line past about the 30% point, so there were three lines that all merged into one. It didn't matter since we had tickets anyhow. You could tell that many of these people had been there for a while and were getting quite toasty. Saw a few Dark Lord hauls dropped and shattered due to drunken footing issues -- one guy lost two of the $50 ones at once. Someone brought a CBS which was pretty awesome to sample. They were all out of the Vanilla Aged when we got to buy them, but everyone in my group had winning tickets -- I think we were 7 for 8. Part of the condition that I got to go was that I give my winning ticket to my friend, so he got a couple -- they are selling for $225-250 on ebay already.

It was a good time, but way overcrowded. We stayed until around 7:30 or so and then got out of there -- I'm sure it got crazier as the night went on.

Do they sell 3 Floyds at Binny's?

I'm sure they've got something from them there, I would think. Haven't been to Binny's in awhile. Yeah, I really liked Big Eddy's.


Yeah, it was getting a little crazy, but nothing bad except for my condition by the end of the day. Yep, not surprised about the price on ebay for that....blows my mind. I was talking to a few friends in line here and there and then ended up at one of the tents were many blends were flowing. Someone gave me a nice big cup of some german brew that severely kicked my ass along with someone that opened a Dark Lord and shared. It was a very festive scene, but I kind of forgot that I'm not 20 anymore. Glad I had a ride home and was not driving.

Big Eddy is the best offering from Leinenkugel's.

Binny's has several 3 Floyd's beers, but I have yet to see Zombie Dust.
