It's late in the game, but does anyone have any solid recommendations for places to eat with 15-16 year old kids around the IU campus. I'm headed there Friday for a tournament over the weekend & from what I can find on-line, everything seems to close at 9pm :? .

Keep in mind that two weeks ago, I was about to take these same kids to the Tilted Kilt in Kenosha....until another parent called it the "Tilted Cow".

They would have loved the Tilted Kilt, I know my 14 year old did. :D

I've been to the one in Kenosha and they have some cute girls in there. The ratio isn't that far off from
anything you would find in the Chicago burbs. You are going to always find some working there that
should hang it up, you just hope you don't get those few as your server. As for Bloomington I am afraid
I have never been so I am no help. Surprising that so many places close early.

It had already been a rough day. It had to be a sure thing or go home w/fast food.

At the main tournament facility (Nash Park) the police were called on several of our kids who were sitting in their parents' cars (in dirty uniforms) on suspicion of attempted auto theft. Four squad cars came because of an older woman's concerned call?!? To make matters worse, a number of local kids then came around yelling racial slurs....while the cops were there. (They did have the decency to at least run like hell when the cops began to approach them). The cops attempted to apologize for the woman's baseless/fearful call, but it was too late.

Kinda sad because I've always liked Wisconsin. Maybe it's that we were in Paul Ryan's district. :?

The dad that called it Tilted Cow, was pretty hot after the game....I didn't want to take any chances.

I live a mile from Nash. That is disappointing to hear how you were treated by the locals. Odd that someone
would call like that. the only place around there are some apartments on the northern end of the park.

Scotty Brewhouse - 7th & Walnut: Combination Buffalo Wild Wings atmosphere with Cheesecake Factory variety menu

Upland Brewery -11th and Morton: Fantastic beer, great outdoor patio and fantastic food. Simple bar food but very well done. The bison burger is great.

La Charreada - Walnut, North of 17th: Fairly priced and tasty Mexican food. Similar to any Chicago family run Mexican sit down joint.

Nick's English Pub - Kirkwood & Indiana: Will definitely be open past 9pm. Pretty good bar food. Known for their "Nick Fries", pizzas and steak sandwich.

Bub's Burgers & Ice Crea - Morton & 9th: Used to live in this building. Place is originally from Indy. Was on Man vs Food. Burgers are good and if you finish their special burger you get your pic posted on their wall.

Crazy Horse - Kirkwood & Morton ish: Regular decent bar food. Nothing spectacular but was a favorite when all the other places had lines.

Buffa Louies: Kirkwood-ish and Indiana: the local wings place in Bloomington. Wasn't particularly a favorite of mine but tied with Nick's for closest place to IU campus.

Avoid eating at Coach's (rip-off) or Yogi's. Yogi's is close to campus but the food sucks. Great place to grab a beer and watch the game though.

In Bloomington everything is close to the IU campus. On the west side of town are the chain restaurants like Red Lobster, Panera, McAllister's, Panera, Fazoli's. On the east side of town is Sam's Club, Wal Mart, White Castle, and some other shit.

Kirkwood, I believe we now have the origin of your CSFMB moniker. Maybe it had been pointed out earlier.
