We start with the Merkts cheddar beef. Now, once again in places all over Chicago, you can order a Cheesy Beef. The Merkts , probably a good thing, but whats with the Pico?????? Its like the people who make these arent from Chicago?

Bacon, Pretzel dog, with Cheese. Cant be bad! unless it gets wrapped up because they didnt sell them on Monday night and you get one on Wednesday!

Image

Tater Tochtos? Taters in a helmet, with cheese and jalapenos

Nothing better than the White Sox entourage of food on local radio.

Fact is, the best thing out there is the beggars pizza! Thats a good pizza and for a ballpark, even better!

I think they had that last item last year and called it "Irish Nachos".

I think they put the pico on the wrong item?

The notion that any team always need to come up with something new to eat, is classic stupidity.

How about making something really good and keep serving it.

Get me a smokey links cart in Wrigley for $1.00 minis, done! and become famous for consitant good food.

Up until last year when they narrowed the concourse due to construction, the Cubs always had an Italian sausage stand. Someone is cooking them on a grill, you order it, with grilled onions and/or peppers, throw it in the Gonella bread, hot off the grill. Simple. Good, Quick. There was no meeting in a conference room to decide to do this.

Sorry, but nothing will match the hype Brooks Boyer centered around BACON ON A STICK.

My brother talked about loving smokey links back in the 70's!

Those tater tots, cheese and peppers look pretty good.

As long as they still have a good crispy crunch to them.

If they are cheese soaked, soggy and an hour old, keep it.

That's a deal breaker.

They were the only edible thing at Wrigley in the 70s.

Why would you care about Wrigley in the 70s? Aren't you a Sock fan?

The Sox do that with the grilled Polish sausage.

They used to have a pretty solid corned beef sandwich at the Cell. Can you still get one there?

Back in the early 200s, E&M Meats from Skokie had a steak sandwich stand on the main concourse. That was very good, but it was long gone by 2005.

When I lived in Chicago, I preferred to pick up a great Italian Sub at Bari or Graziano's and eat it at the stadium. Nothing served at the Cell compares to either of those sandwiches. In general, I've always thought the food there was overrated.

That all looks pretty good. I've never been to the Cell but they're ranked near the top when it comes to ballpark food every year.

As a neutral observer, the Sox are pretty awesome.
