Hopleaf? They have that lounge/bar/waiting area on the 2nd floor, overlooking Clark. You can drink half-way decent brew, or even better wine and count subarus. Charcuterie app is memorable.

I really enjoy Calo's pizza but that is a long time to kill. Drive the extra half mile and walk along the lake. You can hang out at The Dock when you reach montrose

Pastoral - duck with the mustard butter crust in the charcuterie sampler was excellent. Hard pass on the chicken liver pate, though. The rabbit was fine.

Calo - if you get garlic on the pizza, tell them to take it easy. Pizza quality was great on the thin.

Never understood why anyone would order garlic as a pizza topping. There's already garlic in the sauce. And garlic is such a strong flavor why would you want to risk dominate/overwhelming a pie with it? Also, it burns pretty easily which makes it a risk to add as a topping.

You might as well order oregano as a topping while you're at it.
