bjorn lomborg sounds like a madeup name. unsurprisingly he's right wing, hence why mini coch posted the link.

"organic" is the new "low fat" and "sugar free". when it's marketed, it's usually something you have to do some research on. same with "all natural". companies will bend the meaning of those buzz words to fit their needs.

consumers want the bullet points, and that's why progresso sold soup so well for years. no one was looking at sodium, just calories. and soup is low in calories. but extremely high in sodium, like anything else canned.

if you eat things in moderation, none of that matters. but the problem is, people want to find one thing and stick with it. it's never healthy to do that.
