I do not miss the newborn stage. My little guy is almost two. I look forward to the day, where I no longer have to change diapers.

We're working on that with big sister right now. At least they are finally sleeping from 9 to about 4. Which is when I have to get up for work anyways.

My older son is completely toilet trained. It's nice.

Fuzzy Baby Ducks lives up to the hype. Only Julius competes with it in terms of northeast IPAs. It's been ages since I've had Duet and I've never had Nelson but I think it beats the former. Definitely prefer it to Susan, Lunch, and Sculpin.

I tried seven beers at Alpine. Nelson, Pure Hoppiness, and Baby Face were all great. The rest were so so. I would LOVE to try Fuzzy Baby Ducks. The one beer I've never been able to get my hands on is Double Sunshine.

Where do you live again, Zeph? We need to grab beers over discussing beers.

I'm in eastern Mass at the moment which is how I was able to try FBD, but I'm hoping to be back in the midwest if not Chicago by the end of the summer. I was actually in Oak Lawn for a wedding this past weekend but didn't have the time to do anything particularly fun beer-related. I did load up on Simcoe Ninja and Ninja vs Unicorn at Kenwood though. It sucked not being able to grab Zombie Dust as well on the way back but I wasn't going near Munster due to the DLD shitshow.

If I make another trip to Vermont before I move back, I'll definitely try to grab you some Double Sunshine. I'm not particularly crazy about it, but I suspect it's more a product of inconsistent batches than anything else, as many of my friends here prefer it to pretty much everything else from VT.

Whereabouts in Eastern MA, Zeph? Tall Midget is currently splitting his time between Somerville, MA and Amherst, MA.

They'll be tapping a keg of Founder's KBS at Skylark on Wednesday. I will probably be there.

If only it weren't $11 or $12, whatever the hell PW cost. No thanks.

Anyone been to the Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn? Hidden gem. Ran there over lunch to grab some stuff to trade. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.

I have tried two of their beers, and I like them.

Great call Zeph. Place had a great vibe (no TVs!!!). Place was pretty small and bustling. Beers were very tasty and not too expensive. All pints were 6.50 no matter which beer.

Agreed. I feel like the last few have been extremely boozy. RuinTen should be out soon. Give that one a go. Probably my favorite Stone offering.

Grabbed 3 bottles and had 1 this past weekend and have to agree with the above. Very disappointed.

RuinTen came out a couple weeks ago. Should be hitting the shelves around here any day. It may be there already. I didn't get a chance to hit the store over the weekend. Need to get my hands on some before the upcoming Saturday Smokefest. :drunken: :bom:

Anyone have the chance to taste the offerings from two of the suburbs newest breweries: solemn oath in Naperville and Penrose in Geneva? Good offerings by both I have to say.
