I have bought two Solemn Oath bombers, and enjoyed them very much.

I had a Penrose P2 on tap at the Two Brothers Summerfest, and I thought it was meh.

If you have a chance to make it out to Geneva, I would recommend trying their other offerings. P2 is flagship beer but not representative of what they can do.

I'm not sure how wide this distribution is, but I picked up a River Horse Sampler pack out of New Jersey.

First up is River Horse Tripel Horse. Not a fan even knowing it's a 10% abv beer. May not even finish it and I have had multiple Tripel beers that I like. Just not this one.

Received some New Glarus from my "Wisconsin Guy."

Spotted Cow and Moon Man. Both still good but was bummed that the Cabin Fever was apparently seasonal, fuckin' Wisconsin.

Loved Spotted Cow and Two Women. Well deserved praise for New Glarus.

Big Moon Man guy, right here. I like IPA's in general but find a lot of them just get bogged down and to broad in taste. Moon Man is a bit "lighter" but, to me at least, more sharp and focused. Kind of like going from a heavy lager to something like Harp.

Agree 100%. But I've filled the bottles with water and replaced them in the downstairs fridge. So now I'm stuck.

Did you steal them from your dads fridge?

Are you 16 years old?

River Horse is the name of the brewery.

If that was the case it you would be looking at cans of Olympia Gold. No, my own fridge. Never get married to a teetotaler. It will ruin your life.

I'm not a big beer drinker, but I'm going to the dogfish brewery tonight. Any specific suggestions?

If he isn't big on beer, perhaps both of our suggestions were a bit much.

Aprihop.

I ended up getting the 90 IPA. I like IPAs which I know is weird for non-beer guys. It was good shit.

I paid $18 (eighteen dollars) for a 22 oz bottle of Apocalypse Cow at the train station today. I wanted to back out but the cashier had big boobs and there were like 10 people in line behind me. At 11% ABV I don't completely regret it.

The barrel aged version is one of the best beers I've ever had.
