I have bought two Solemn Oath bombers, and enjoyed them very much.

I had a Penrose P2 on tap at the Two Brothers Summerfest, and I thought it was meh.

If you have a chance to make it out to Geneva, I would recommend trying their other offerings. P2 is flagship beer but not representative of what they can do.

I'm not sure how wide this distribution is, but I picked up a River Horse Sampler pack out of New Jersey.

First up is River Horse Tripel Horse. Not a fan even knowing it's a 10% abv beer. May not even finish it and I have had multiple Tripel beers that I like. Just not this one.

Spotted Cow and Moon Man. Both still good but was bummed that the Cabin Fever was apparently seasonal, fuckin' Wisconsin.

Loved Spotted Cow and Two Women. Well deserved praise for New Glarus.

Big Moon Man guy, right here. I like IPA's in general but find a lot of them just get bogged down and to broad in taste. Moon Man is a bit "lighter" but, to me at least, more sharp and focused. Kind of like going from a heavy lager to something like Harp.

Agree 100%. But I've filled the bottles with water and replaced them in the downstairs fridge. So now I'm stuck.

I paid $18 (eighteen dollars) for a 22 oz bottle of Apocalypse Cow at the train station today. I wanted to back out but the cashier had big boobs and there were like 10 people in line behind me. At 11% ABV I don't completely regret it.
