Its amazing how much sugar is in some foods.

If you can get "no sugar added" versions of things, to me there is very little difference in taste

If you're a ketchup person, go for the No sugar added. There is almost no difference in taste.

But is there a difference in taste?

I'm not sure that post was tasteful.

I just don't think I want anybody messing with my ketchup, sugar or no sugar. There has to still be some sanity in this world.

Buy it. If you can say there is a noticeable difference in taste, Ill send you a regular ketchup bottle twice the size

I'll second the no sugar added still tastes like ketchup. My Dad is a diabetic, so many things at their house are sugar free/no sugar added. Most of them taste pretty good actually.

My wife does a homemade apple pie (crust and all) that she uses Splenda in on most holidays so he can have a dessert, and its actually quite good.

As a 'heavy' user of these types of things, I'd take you up on the wager ... except I just got a family size jug of the regular a week ago and that'll last for a looong time.

That said, a lot of reduced sugar/sugar free stuff is really pretty good ... some things aren't .... 'fake' Hershey's choclocate syrup and Smucker's jellies come to mind on the 'miss' side.

Just be sure your sugar free stuff isn't simply replacing the sugar with high fructose corn syrup because then you aren't really eating anything better.

Im a big ketchup guy, I expected a big difference and there was none. Then I slipped it in to a dinner for my mom and daughter and they didnt notice.

Also, the Blue Bunny no sugar added fudgicles are good. They DO taste a little different, but not bad at all.

True, but I don't know offhand of any 'reduced sugar' things doing that ... mostly because in most cases those items used HFC in the first place.

Blue Bunny got that shit down pat. I defy people to unknowingly pick out that they've been slipped a no-sugar-added 'mickie'. It'll still give you a big ass though. And the lactose still turns to glucose and doesn't "solve" anything for a diabetic that really wants or needs to give a damn.

They use sucralose - I think it's splenda.

I used to love Heinz but Brad's Ketchup blows it away.
