If you're ever in Wisconsin the place to go is Milio's.

Where is this? When in Wisconsin and looking for a chain I would recommend Cousins.

Hmmm, interesting. Never heard of them even when I lived up in Milwaukee. Good to know.

Milio's is solid. Used to be Big Mike's or something. He is also Jimmy John's founder's cousin. I think they used to have shops together and then split.

Thank u for turning me on to Rubino's in Tinley Park. Stopped their for a sandwich before going to the KISS/Motley Crue concert at First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre.

Had the American Sub (Ham, Turkey and Salami). I also had letteuce, tomato and mayo. It was a good size sandwich and very tasty. Will definitly be back when I am in the area.

Never posted my Jersey Mike's review - MEH. Had an Italian on white and a bowl of potato soup. Sub - sort of felt like I was trying to eat drywall. No flavor and it really didn't go down well.

Certainly Conte di Savoia, Riviera and Graziano's are better.

I have a friend who is from Philadelphia who is always complaining about the lack of real cheesesteaks in Chicago. She advised me that while it isn't perfect, the closest thing she can get here is the one at Jersey Mike's. I tried it and was completely underwhlemed. But maybe I just don't care for Philly cheesesteak.

I went to Philly and had one of them cheesesteaks at the supposed better of the two famous places that are right across the street from each other, or at least spitting difference. I was underwhelmed by that experience. Kind of a big gut bomb. The one they have at Philly's in town is different, but also underwhelming. A good beef with fixings (sweet or hot and provolone if you need a cheese) is so much better.

Jersey Mike's was ok, but more so-so ok than good ok. There are too many sandwich places to go to that are a hell of a lot better. I'd take Mr. Submarine, Potbelly, Subway or Jimmy John's over them any day of the week.

This.

Also, Rammy's Sub Contractors in Elk Grove and Wheeling. Their pretzel bread is awesome.

I work with a client near this place and have been there dozens of times. Rammy's is tremendous. Great, fresh ingredients and frequent specialty sandwiches. It's the best I've had since Perry's Deli.

I went here a couple of days ago. Really, really good, but a little too oily.

When I make it to that area, my favorites are typically Riviera Dail (Belmont/Harlem) and Nottoli Brothers (a little further north on Harlem).

The other Nottoli Brother's at about 7600 Belmont is ridiculous. Everything in that looks, smells, and tastes delicious. Everything. Their garbage is probably better that Potbelly's menu.
