Once again, and this is my last post on this until I decide to keep posting on it, a hostess cupcake is bad for you. Everyone knows that. It just turns out that all cupcakes are bad for you besides the ones that are barely edible because they are healthy.

There is a huge expanding market of healthy processed foods now.

Right but the Hostess one is a little worse, due to the preservatives

On the other side of the nutrition coin is exercise and muscle fitness. One's not very much good without the other. As a former weight trainer I thought I knew all there was to know about lifting. But of course, one never stops learning. Here's a tip about when to work out and eat:

Do you eat before or after a workout? Well, that depends on what you ate and what intend to do. The optimum time to eat is 25 to 35 minutes after. Why? For the first half hour food is in your stomach liquefying. You have no access to the energy. Take it easy so all your body's energy creates the needed hydrochloric acid to break down the nutrients.

It's when food hits the small intestine that you should begin. Your blood glucose level peaks at about 45 minutes....you want to be working out by then. The harder and faster you work out the more glucose is sent to the muscles. Hard exercise damages muscles and your body sends more replacement troops than were lost to the stressed area. You grow.

If you ate a low protean meal there will be no muscle growth. If you ate a high protean there will. This is especially effective after a whey shake. Drinking that stuff before or during a workout is a waste.

Vitamin C has benefits for muscle fatigue. Check it out:

You don't want your digestive system using the blood oxygen you need for those curls...it's at cross puposes. EAT, rest 30 minutes then work out.

Vid of the day is fairly disgusting to watch. It concerns cholesterol and my favorite food, the chicken egg. But the Aussie hottie eases the pain.

This video is downright alarming...after the Aussie hottie's segment it goes into even MORE scary shit if you don't stop it from running.

nutritionfacts.org is a great site. Naked Man in the Locker Room hipped me to it a few weeks ago.

Yes it is. The only problem I have is that they are SO pro veg. If you are eating a 90% plant based diet, how in the hell is one egg a day going to hurt you? Is one egg going to overpower all the fiber and nutrition you're getting from the wheat grass, blueberries, greens, nuts, et al, combined with an active life style?
