I don't really like dessert crepes. We make a good spinach and cheese stack one and chicken ones. My dad makes great seafood ones but I haven't gotten the hang of those. I haven't made them in years because they take a while. I was thinking about making some soon but pretty sure my daughter will turn her nose up at them.

Booze. I like eclairs, trifles, chocolate layer cakes, key lime pie, mousses, crumb cakes with fruit, upside down cakes, bread pudding, most citrus flavored things, pecan bars, butterscotch cookies, a handful of m & ms, snickers dip.

I hate flan, creme brûlée, doughnut things, molten anything, pies, tarts, frosted brownies, cheesecake, ice cream based things (except for that layer ice cream sandwich one), skillet a la mode things, most pastry based things, and cream cheese frosted things.

Wow. That's very specific.

I like a girl that knows what she wants and what she doesn't.

For me, just booze. I don't like sweets.

6 pk of fun size snickers
cream cheese
hot fudge sauce
vanilla extract
caramel sauce

Freeze the bars for about 5-10 minutes. Pulse 4 or so thru a food processor a couple times so you have about a cup or so of pebble sized chunks. Whip the heck out of some softened cream cheese. mix in about a jar of hot fudge sauce and a tsp or so of vanilla extract . Fold in most of the chopped snickers. Get a shallow relatively flat bowl or container and spread about half on it. Cover that with a layer of the caramel sauce and the chopped candy maybe 1/4 c. Spread the other half of the cream cheese mixture on top. It's best if you sort of blob it on in spoonfuls and kinda mash the smaller spoonfuls around so you don't disturb the bottom layer too much. Cover that with a layer of caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining snickers on top - maybe another 1/4 c or so.

You can add cool whip or powdered sugar to the cream cheese and hot fudge sauce mixture if you want it a little sweeter but I think it's too much when you do that. Some add extra peanuts or more candy bars. There are lots of variations if you google snickers dip but I like this the best. Some people like more bars in it or the chop a little chunkier. I serve it with pretzels and nilla wafers.

Many years ago my friend Tom and I were having dinner with our first wives at Un Grand Cafe. The waiter brought the dessert menu and then came back a few minutes later to ask if we wanted anything. My ex has this valley girlish manner of speaking that is such that people don't believe she is from Chicago, and she says, "I'll have an Amstel!" To this day, Tom and I will often say "I'll have an Amstel!" mimicking her goofy inflection, when it comes time to order dessert. Our current wives just roll their eyes.
