Thinking about buying one of these off Amazon..200$ ..nothin crazy. Anybody have one? Like it? Hate it?

I'm either getting an indoor oil fryer or the infrared.

Pros- don't have to buy peanut oil every time ya wanna use it or dispose of used oil..healthier.

An inside turkey fryer sounds incredibly safe.

It says it requires a propane tank so not sure it'd be used indoors.

Plus it's 30 pounds.

Looks interesting but not sure what else you'd use it for except frying a turkey once a year.

Hopefully 312 buys 4 of them

The indoor oil fryer uses electricity not fuel.

Just saw this thread. Did you buy a fryer, 312?

If not, here's my 2 cents: I would avoid buying an oil fryer unless you are comfortable using it outdoors. Frying a turkey inside will leave your house smelling like turkey and oil for weeks.

I have one of the Butterball fryers, by the way. I wouldn't recommend it.
