Ingram's Busy Bee Bakery in Downers Grove is pretty fantastic. The waitstaff there is fairly rude, which is kind of annoying, but their product is great. Swedish Flop is a must there, and I think this is the farthest north and west I have ever seen an Atomic Cake (had one from there several years ago and it was really good.) They also make a "pizza" coffee cake which is pretty much a coffee cake dough with different sections of fruit (apricot, strawberry, cherry, etc.) laid out in wedges, so you can get the kind you like the best.

There used to be a Busy Bee ice cream parlor up in Waupaca that my wife remembers fondly from her childhood. I prefer Scoopers, but I don't recommend getting a triple scoop from there after binging on Leinne's beer all day.

I went to Waupaca overnight camp for a couple years in my youth.

There used to be a Busy Bee diner under the El stop at about Division and Milwaukee that closed once the area had reached peak gentrification. The place would be filled in the morning with contractors sobering up with polish sausage and egg omelets before going to work . English was the minority language spoken.
