Need to follow them on social media

I know a litany of "not as good as it was" posts will follow but it is still a pretty good beef (with exceptional giardinara) and that is a great price.

Get yourself some!

The original is still fine, but way overpriced ever since Chris Pacelli became a pseudo celebrity.

The franchisees to a store blow however.

I was at Taylor St last year, everybody working there was high, and the beef tasted like cinnamon.

yea it's solid for sure, I rate it higher than Portillos' all day.

The one at Diversey and Elston is good.

I was in town a few months ago. Had a Buona, I cant remember if I'd had one of theirs before. Either way, it was OK. Not terrible like I had been led to believe. I liked the chips.

Oh shit the Niles location (on touhy) is out of beef! I wondered why there weren't crazy lines inside (but plenty of traffic outside)

Buona is just ok. I had a friend who grew up in Oak Park who swore by Buona. Everyone thought he was crazy as he had Johnnies just down the street. Everyone was right.

Buona sponsors the beef race at sox games and it seems like I win every time. That is a pretty good deal getting a free sandwich, and they don't skimp on you when you redeem.

My wife went to that one at about 4 and the line was out the door. I went to Orleans at about five and the line was down the block. A sandwich isn't that important to me.

It never ceases to amaze me how much time people are willing to give up just to save less than $10 on something.

I talked to a guy who says he redeems his card even when he doesn't have the winner and they never even check. It's usually some dumb teenage kid that just shells out the free beef.
